Vibrant and different.
When I think about the times I’ve felt most awed by nature, it’s often the contrast of what I see that evokes a sense of wonder in me. The clarity of the blue sky dotted with white wisps of cotton clouds. The looming formation of brown mountains sat against the green firs of a tall tree. The pink and purple hues that mix with the sun as they reflect against the sparkles of a blue ocean. The twinkling light of bright stars illuminated in the blackness of night.
If we can observe such differences in nature and marvel at the beauty of the imagery, why would we not be grateful for the differences we find in one another? People are born and equipped with different strengths and weaknesses, and instead of hating the absence or presence of either one in those around us, perhaps it would be wise to lean into those differences.
