I remember what you wore on the first day…

Marriage is a partnership. It is designed to be the place in which a man and a woman build a life and a home. Two people become one. They share one another’s burdens, joys, and tears, and ultimately commit to supporting one another for all life. 

When you have someone by your side, you will become comfortable. And in your comfort, you may find yourself disagreeing with one another about small things like how to roll the toilet paper or big things like money. But one of you may see a solution to a problem that the other doesn’t. 

As uncomfortable as it can be, we were not created to be by ourselves. With another person to walk through the storms of life with us, we can rely on one another with fullness of trust and vulnerability. What a blessing marriage is.
