The greatest love of all.
As humans, we are prone to making mistakes. When we look back on our lives, we can see the regrets and failures and sometimes….we may feel embarrassed or even ashamed. Sometimes, we may want to go back to the past and fix our mistakes, take back our words, or stop ourselves from doing certain things.
But there is nothing we can do to change the past. And often, we are scared and frightened that people will see our mistakes. We are afraid because we think they will see us the way we look at ourselves - covered in shame.
But real love doesn’t meet you after you’ve cleaned up. Real love meets you at your worst. God’s love is real. And one of the most beautiful things in life is to be able to witness small amounts of God’s love in human relationships.
Perhaps the most beautiful love is one that covers all of our failures and extends mercy upon us. God’s love for us is like that, and so wasAmber and Joaquin’s love for each other. It was an honor to witness their wedding and we pray that they continue to walk forward, knowing that God has redeemed them for His glory.
