Rachel + Jason
Sweet & bitter memories, our friendship has seen the darkest of times, and lightest of times. Our glory days are not behind us, but ahead.
I met Jason at church when I was in elementary school when. I remember I have always wanted to fit in with the crew. I tried everything by trying to impress them with my Sony Ericsson, my Jordans, and even tried to show off with baggy pants. I have always been the awkward wannabe cool kid that’s just trying to fit in. Jason saw right through my insecurities and became my friend anyways.
The crew soon after accepted me. I remember we would all chat on AIM, had rap battles(I was the worse), and had conference calls that lasted for hours. I don’t really remember what we talked about, but I think music and girls were probably the main topic of our conversations. We even wrote a rap song together which none of y’all will ever hear. We shared low moments and high moment together. We were all glued to the hips all through out high school. We were all very different, but our common denominator was Jesus.
